Kendall Jenner has been forced to miss a prestigious fashion event because of school.
The reality TV personality is famed for appearing on hit show Keeping Up With The Kardashians alongside half-sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian and the rest of their family.
The 15-year-old was due to make a $20,000 appearance at tonight's Fashion's Night Out, but has been forced to cancel her show because she was unable to get out of school in Los Angeles.
"Kendall was offered $20,000 to host an event. She was interested but she had to back out because she couldn't get out of school," a source told the New York Post.
The source also added that Kendall's mother Kris Jenner is insisting that the young star complete her studies, despite a burgeoning career in the fashion and entertainment industry.
A representative for the Kardashian family didn't respond.
Kendall is no stranger to the fashion industry. The star recently took part in a prom dress photo shoot for designer Sherri Hill. She also appeared as the face of Forever 21 two years ago and has appeared in campaigns for Luca Couture and Leah Madden's Summer 2012 campaign Pirouette.
Her little sister Kylie is also set to follow in her footsteps. The 13-year-old will make her New York Fashion Week debut on Monday at the Abbey Dawn by Avril Lavigne show.
